InCite at Vancouver Public Library

Vancouver Writers Fest sponsors InCite at VPL, hosted by Hal Wake, a celebration of the annual collection from Oberon Press, Best Canadian Stories. With Vancouver authors in the 2013 edition: Caroline Adderson, Zoey Leigh Peterson, Cynthia Flood.

The Writers

Caroline Adderson
Caroline Adderson is the author of three novels, two collections of short stories and several books for young readers. She has received numerous prize nominations and is the winner of two Ethel Wilson Fiction Prizes and three CBC Literary Awards. She is also the receipient of the 2006 Marian Engel Award for mid-career achievement. She lives in Vancouver, BC.

Cynthia Flood
Cynthia Flood’s stories have won numerous awards, including The Journey Prize and a National Magazine award, and have been widely anthologized. She lives in Vancouver’s West End. Her new book, Red Girl Rat Boy is a collection of stories.

Zoey Peterson
Zoey Leigh Peterson is the recipient of the Far Horizons Award for Short Fiction and the Peter Hinchcliffe Fiction Award. Her work has appeared in numerous publications, including Grain, The Walrus, and PRISM international. She lives in Vancouver and is currently at work on a novel.
