An Evening of Prose, Music and Poetry to Benefit People’s Coop Bookstore

Cynthia Flood’s latest book, Red Girl Rat Boy (Biblioasis 2013) was shortlisted for the Ethel Wilson Fiction Prize and long-listed for the Frank O’Connor Short Story Award. Quill & Quire named Red Girl as one of 2013’s five best books of fiction, while CBC Books included Cynthia in their list of Ten Canadian Women Writers You Need To Read.www.cynthiaflood.com

Fraser Union has been singing and playing for causes they believe in since the 1980s. The band has also performed at the Vancouver Folk Music Festival, Arts Wells, Island MusicFest, and so on, right back to Mayworks. Fiona Tinwei Lam is the author of two poetry books, Intimate Distances and Enter the Chrysanthemum. Her prose and poetry also appear in over 24 anthologies.
